About Us

The Mount Messenger was founded in the fall of 2011 as a student-run newspaper produced by students at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York.

Our Story

The Messenger primarily covers campus news and events, while also providing insight into students’ opinions and views through our features and columns, serving as a voice for the campus community.

Formerly an online-only publication, The Messenger released its first ever print issue in the fall of 2015, and has continued to release one to two issues per semester ever since.
